Agate Oco Geodes
These are small natural geodes that have been cut and polished to show the crystallized hollow centers. They are approximately 1" - 2" long: .50 each.

Agate Thin Slices
Agate Thin Slices are pieces of geodes that have been thinly sliced to show the unique markings of the crystallized agate. These are sold in various colors of: blue, teal, black, pink, purple, and the natural browns. 2" x 3": $1.50
3" x 5: $3.75

Amethyst
Amethyst is a purple quartz. They come in single points and also in hand-held size clusters. The single points are small 1/2" pieces for .50, and the clusters are small (2 x 2") - medium (3 x 4") for $8.00 lb.

Apache Tears
Apache Tears are a form of silica glass formed by the rapid cooling of molten volcanic lava. Apache Tears appear black, but when they are help up to the light, they are found to be a smoky-amber color. They are the gemstone variety of obsidian. Found in the Western U.S. They range in size from 1/2" - 3". $8.00/lb.

Arrowheads
These arrowheads are recently made, massed produced replicas of the original arrowheads made from various rock such as black obsidian, and brown flint. They are approximately 1" - 1 1/2" long: .50 each.

Calcite
Calcite is a sedimentary mineral formed by the evaporation of water solutions rich in calcium bicarbonate. Calcite can take on the colors of other minerals growing near it, causing it to be blue, orange, amber, green or red. Calcite is also fluorescent under an ultraviolet light. 1"-3" $8.00/lb.

Chevron Amethyst
Chevron Amethyst is a massive type of amethyst that has various shades of purple and white that zig and zag in a chevron pattern. These pieces are approximately 1" x 2", sometimes more. $8.00/lb.

Citrine
Citrine is a form of quartz, and is sometimes referred to as false topaz. The golden brown colors are caused by impurities in the ground as well as higher ground temperatures. The individual points are approximately 1"-2" long: .50 each. The clusters are approximately 2"-4": $8.00/lb.

Desert Roses
Desert Roses are a type of selenite, or gypsum, which is what is commonly ground up to make sheetrock and cement products. They can form large clusters, but can be easily broken up into single pieces. These are singles, 1"x1/12": $8.00/lb

Flourite
Fluorite is a fluorescent stone under an ultraviolet light. They form colorful purple, green, clear massive chunks as well as cubes, octahedras, and columns. Rough chunks, approximately 1"-5": $8.00/lb.

Hematite
Hematite is a volcanic based, slightly magnetic stone. When crushed and mixed with water, makes a nice brick red coloring agent. The chunks are small flat pieces up to 1": $8.00/lb.

Iron Pyrite
Iron Pyrite, often mistaken for native gold, is nicknamed "Fools Gold". It is often found with gold and mined with gold ore. Even though it contains a high percentage of iron (46.6%), it is rarely used as an iron ore, but more of a chief source of sulfur, containing 53.4%. It is used in the manufactured of sulfuric acid. The largest pyrite-producing countries are: Japan, Spain, Italy and Norway. Our pieces range from 1/2" - 4": $8.00/lb.

Leopard Skin Jasper
Leopard Skin Jasper is a common sedimentary rock and a type of fine grained quartz. Jaspers are an opaque form of quartz colored by impurities in earth colors of reds, yellow, browns and greens. These pieces are small at 1"x2": $8.00/lb.

Moonstone
Moonstone is a type of feldspar from India that comes in various shades of cream, yellow, beige, white and browns. Some moonstones can be very reflective. These 1" - 2" chunks give you a variety of colors: $8.00/lb.

Moqui Marbles
Moqui Marbles, also called Shaman Stones, are strange ironstone concretions that are found at the base of the Navajo Sandstone formation and come in sizes from small marbles to baseball size. The Moqui Indians that inhabited the Southeast used these small balls for marble-like games and in slings for hunting. The centers are filled with hard packed sandstone and the outer surface is a composite of iron, phosphorous, and lime. How they were formed and what caused their unusual rounded shapes remains a puzzle. There are many theories as to their formation and some scientists believe them to be from 130-155 million years old. However they came to be, it is very easy to imagine the resourceful Indian children, who had to rely on nature for their toys, creating many ingenious games using these unique spheres. As Shaman Stones, many believe that if you hold one in each hand, the stone will help to reduce pain and balance the body's energy field. The rough male stone carries a (+) charge, and the smooth female a (-) charge. Charge them in bright sunlight and store charged stones apart to prevent them from neutralizing each other. Assorted sizes, 1/2" - 3": $8.00/lb.

Peacock Copper
Peacock Copper is a common name for Bornite, which is an important copper-sulfide mineral. Bornite contains approximately 63.3% of copper ore. It is pinkish-colored on a fresh fracture, but tarnishes to a purple-blue, which gives it the name "Peacock Ore". Fine crystals of bornite are rare, but massive specimens can be found in Arizona, Colorado, and Mexico. 1" - 3": .50/oz. $8.00/lb.

Quartz Crystal
Quartz Crystal is the mineral more often found throughout the earth's crust in recognizable crystals than any other. Clear quartz forms naturally when silica-rich solutions occur in underground cavities and fractures where conditions for unobstructed growth are present. This quartz is mined from a matrix of weathered clay and bedrock. Quartz crystals can form extremely large single points up to 30 or more pounds. Ours are a modest 1" - 6". 1" x 3/4" single points start at .50 each. 2" x 1" points are $1.00 each. Larger points are $12.00/lb. Clusters range from 2" and up: $8.00/lb.

Rose Quartz
Rose Quartz is a pink variety of clear quartz, possibly because of titanium impurities in the stone. It very rarely forms crystals, it is almost always found in massive chunks in Brazil, Madagascar, the Black Hills of S.D., and Maine. We sell pieces from 1" - 4": $4.00/lb
